On Guard

Friends of the Settle to Carlisle Line asked JOEL to Sculpt a Life Sized Sculpture of the Collie Dog Ruswarp and the project was funded by public donations.
JOEL was able to use the scale of the Collie model "On Guard" to help with the design and measurements of the Ruswarp Sculpture.

Bronze statue of the Collie, Ruswarp was unveiled on Easter Saturday 2009

JOEL was also asked to make a small collectable sculpture of Ruswarp, as well as a tiny trinket, so that supporters of the project can have something of their own to remember him by.
