Shown below a taste of a great day in October 2006 when Christian organisations were called together to support the Creation Festival in Melton Mowbray. Many organisations were present on show in the Banqueting suite at the Cattle Market site on that Sunday - car-boot day.

The Shepherds Child Sculpture now in Bronze for the first time, was on show all morning.
This gave people who had watched its making over the last year an opportunity to see it in the final cast Bronze form.
Churches Together Melton Mowbray hosted the entire event, and there was a rolling programme of music and drama from the stage...including

The Heaven and Earth Show,
Songs of Praise with the Borough Band, and Praise in the Market.
What a Great day!
And Good News .......the aim is to have the event again this year.
"Meanwhile I have a committment to take the Bronze Shepherds Child once a month to the Car-boot sale, so that peole who might have missed it so far have an opportunity to see the cast sculpture and to ask questions and talk about the Christian Faith......"says JOEL
